Summer Crumble
Ingredients:
4 cups of fresh fruit, peeled and chopped
1 TBSP of flour
2 TBSP of sugar
1/2 TBSP of lemon juice
1/3 cup of rolled oats
3/4 cup of flour
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of white sugar
8 TBSP of cold butter cut into cubes
Directions:
Heat your oven to 350 degrees
In a medium bowl, add your fruit, sugar, flour and lemon juice and mix until it’s all coated
In a separate bowl, mix together your oats, flour, brown sugar and white sugar. After that is combined, add your cubed butter and cut in with a bench scraper or pastry cutter until butter chunks are small. Finish mixing with your hands until few butter chunks remain.
In a 9 inch pie dish, add your fruit. Flatten your crumble topping in your hands and place on top of the fruit.
Bake for 23-26 minutes and enjoy!
