Sourdough Chocolate Chip Bagels

A perfect addition to any breakfast!

Did you know you can make bagels with your regular sourdough bread dough?!

@turner.farm shared this the other day and I had to make them and add chocolate chips!

Follow your normal recipe for sourdough, when laminating your dough add mini chocolate chips.

After your cold raise in proofing baskets, cut into 8 pieces and shape them.

Boil in 6 cups of water with 2 tablespoons of sugar and cook for 45 seconds on each side.

Top with egg wash and add more chocolate chips to the top.

Throw them in the oven at 425° for 25 minutes and they are good to go!

To make the spiced cream cheese, add your favorite holiday spices (I did cinnamon, all spice and pumpkin spice) then add a splash of vanilla, a tablespoon of sugar and enjoy!
