THE BEST BROWNIES

If fudge, a brownie, and a sheet cake had a baby

Ronda’s brownies

4 eggs

2 cups sugar

1 tsp salt

2 tsp vanilla

1 cup cooled browned butter or cooled melted butter

3/4 cup cocoa powder

1 1/2 cup flour


Frosting:

2 cups powdered sugar

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/4 cup softened butter

A few tablespoons of milk


Preheat oven to 350°


Add eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla to a bowl and beat until combined


Add melted butter and mix again


Add flour and cocoa and mix until just combined


Add to either a 9x12 baking sheet or a 9x12 cookie sheet lined with oiled parchment


Bake for 20-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a bit of moist crumbs


While that’s baking make your frosting


Add all your ingredients except milk to a bowl, add just a splash of milk and start mixing. Keep adding milk and mixing until the frosting is spreadable


As soon as your brownies come out of the oven, frost them!


Then you’ll let them cool before cutting! I’ve found putting them in the fridge for a bit before I cut them makes it easier
